I Love Weddings! Most importantly, I love what weddings symbolize. Marriage is one of the most significant and sacred rite of passages a person will experience in their life. During this special time, it is my heart’s desire to embrace and become one in the heart of every bride, to capture her vision and execute the wedding of her dreams. I work tirelessly to ensure every detail is addressed and timelines are adhered to. Although this occasion is exciting and full of anticipation, it can be a daunting task for most. As your wedding planner, I will serve as your advocate, mediator, and counselor so you can enjoy the journey of being betrothed!
My philosophy on weddings is that it is the first day of the rest of
your lives together. Celebrate with your family and dearest friends; relax, be who you are, have fun, dance, laugh, share stories, reflect, and seize the moment. Regardless of the number of attendants, guests, or monetary value, the true measure of a successful wedding is one where the marriage last a lifetime.
I started planning weddings when my sister’s best friend asked me to plan hers. My immediate response to her was “I don’t do weddings!” and she replied, “I believe you can do mine.” The successful execution of her wedding was the birth of a service I have grown to love immensely and is very passionate about.Upon completion of the Bridal Consultation Program from Penn Foster Career School, I was designated a Professional Bridal Consultant and received membership to the distinguished Association of Bridal Consultants. I received a Master of Education in Counseling from Auburn University Montgomery and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Huntingdon College Montgomery, Alabama.
